Amagon is a platforming action game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Released in 1988, the game puts players in the role of Amagon, a brave soldier who must fight his way through a series of increasingly difficult levels in order to save his stranded comrades.
All-Pro Basketball
All-Pro Basketball was a video game released in 1989 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It featured eight different teams, which seem to have been loosely based on actual NBA teams. This included the New York Slicks, Chicago Zephyrs, Boston Redcoats, Los Angeles Breakers, Dallas Stallions, Phoenix Wings, Seattle Sonics, and San Francisco Bayriders.
Airwolf
Airwolf was a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System based on a television series originally aired from 1984 to 1987. The series centers around an advanced prototype supersonic helicopter and a pilot named Stringfellow Hawke. In the game Hawke must fly the Airwolf to a series of POW camps to rescue the prisoners being held captive.
Air Fortress
In the game Air Fortress, the people of Planet Farmel have developed a Lightship which can travel to other galaxies. While the Space Frontier Exploration Fleets are scouting the Yubbert Galaxy, they discover a group of eight space fortresses which survive by destroying and feeding on civilizations. These fortresses are on the way to Farmel and it is up to the hero Hal Bailman to save the planet from destruction.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a platform video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System based on the famous 1876 book by Mark Twain. Tom is daydreaming while in a one room school house on the banks of the Mississippi River and the entire game apparently takes place within one of his dreams. He must travel through six stages to save Becky from his enemy Injun Joe.
Adventures of Lolo
The Adventures of Lolo is a puzzle game created as a compilation from the earlier Japanese Eggerland series. The premise of the game is the the Great Devil has kidnapped Princess Lala and it is up to Prince Lolo to rescue Lala and save the kingdom of Eden. He must journey through 50 rooms of the Devil’s Haunted Castle by solving puzzles.
The Adventures of Dino Riki
The Adventures of Dino Riki takes place in pre-historic times featuring the courageous and intelligent hero Dino Riki. In this vertical scrolling action game, the hero is equipped with a weapon that upgrades from rocks to axes to boomerangs and finally fiery torches.
The Adventures of Bayou Billy
The Adventures of Bayou Billy is set in New Orleans and finds the hero Billy West after spending a fun-filled day at the Jambalaya Jamboree with his girlfriend Annabelle. She is kidnapped by the gangster Gordon in retaliation for Bayou Billy smashing his Red Beans ‘n Rice Warehouse, which was the headquarters of an illegal smuggling network.
720 Degrees
The skateboarding game 720° was developed by Atari and released as an arcade game before finding its way to various systems including the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game’s name refers to a skateboarding trick where the skateboarder makes two full revolutions (720 degrees) in the air after jumping off of a ramp. The game features a young smiling skateboarder with 100 bucks who must work his way through four classes of skateboarding difficulty.
