Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes of the Lance was a video game based on a portion of the novel Dragons of Autumn Twilight from the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing series. The game was originally released for home computers in 1988 and the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991. Despite its roots, this was not a role-playing game, but a side-scrolling action game.
