Following the successful film, The Addams Family (Buy on eBay) video game was released in 1992 across multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Entertainment System. The premise of the game is that the family lawyer Tully Alford has evicted the family and Morticia, Lurch, Granny, Pugsley, and Wednesday have gone missing. It is up to Gomez save the home and rescue the family.

Gomez is free to wander through the mansion and must rescue the family members by solving various puzzles. During the game he can also receive help from “Thing.” There are enemies which he can defeat by jumping on them as well as various power-ups and coins that he can collect. Gomez can also swim in the pond and paddle the gondola.
